Smoke detectors
The battery-operated smoke detector is a state-of-the-art device designed for enclosed spaces to monitor the presence of smoke and for early fire detection. Sources of smoke can include a faulty electrical installation, an unsealed cooker or fireplace, or even burnt food.
The device detects visible smoke arising in the flameless initial stage of a fire. The smoke detector has audible and visual indication of the detected threat and also reports low battery levels.
The product has a TEST button, which allows you to check the correct operation of the sensor.
The smoke detector should be mounted in the centre of the ceiling of the room in question, away from the fan, door or window. Such locations may scatter the potential threat through gusts of wind and thus prevent the detector from detecting it.
The model is powered by a single 9A battery (included), with a sensor lifetime of up to 10 years.
